Superbowl Fun for the Whole Family

It's Superbowl Sunday!!!! You are gearing up for the big game. Your favourite team is playing, the jersey is laid out and the snacks have been bought! But one thing is left.....what are you going to do with the kids?? Perfect time to make Superbowl Sunday a family tradition!

Here are a few fun ideas that will score big with the kids making it a fun filled day for everyone.

Involve kids in making Superbowl snacks
Including the kids in preparing the snacks for the big game is a great way to get them hyped about the game. Make a few family favourites that will become the family's tradition.

Make pom poms for your kids
Get your kids involved in the game by making their very own pom poms so they can cheer on your favorite team. Cut 12" strips of streamers or ribbons and staple them together at one end. Wrap the stapled end with duct or masking tape to protect little hands and create a handle.

Set up an indoor house friendly tribute to the Superbowl
Have a small football, or other small football-themed object on hand for the game and have the kiddies play Superbowl Find It! Start them off by hiding the object somewhere in the house. Whoever finds it gets to hide it next.

Set up a football-themed arts and crafts table
It's time to take out the big guns. For the little kiddies in the house, the Superbowl may just seem like another 'Daddy Show' that's interrupting their normally scheduled programming of Dora, Bubble Guppies or Backyardigans. Take out that craft box, lay out all things colourful and bright, a glue stick and crayons and have them create football inspired creations.

With a few fun snacks and football inspired crafts and activities everyone can be part of the football fun on Superbowl Sunday.
